Track what actually matters
Expect off days. They're part of the process, not a sign you've failed. The goal is to get back on track quickly, not to never slip.
Remove the friction
It helps to attach the new behavior to something you already do. Tie building credit from scratch to your morning coffee or your evening wind-down and it tends to stick.
Keep the tools simple
Be specific about when and where. A vague "later" rarely happens; "right after breakfast, at the kitchen table" usually does.
- Write down your first step the night before
- Review your results at the end of the month
- Keep your tools within arm’s reach
- Make the next step obvious
Lower the bar until starting feels easy.
Remove as much friction as you can. The easier you make it, the less you'll rely on willpower to follow through.
